Dragon Tongue Bean Seeds

This horticultural type bush bean is suited for harvest as a fresh snap bean or as a shelled bean at full maturity. As a snap bean, harvest when the flat, 6 to 8" beans turn from lime green to a buff yellow with bright purple stripes. At this stage, the stringless pods are extremely crisp, juicy and sweet. If dried beans are desired, let pods fully mature.
