Also known as Ice Queen, this French crisphead (iceburg) type shows amazing cold tolerance. The frilled outer leaves are mild enough to use for leaf lettuce, or harvest as baby greens. With its darker green color and ever-so-slightly bitter interior, it’s widely regarded as one of the best crisphead types around.
