Harvest for baby or mature beets. Kestrel is a dual purpose variety that shapes up early into a smooth, globe shaped, dark red root that can be harvested early for baby beets or left in the field to mature to full size. The roots have refined tap roots, small crowns and 12 to 13" semi-glossy, bright green tops. Use this variety for an early bunching variety. Approx 300 seeds

Spacing: Sow thinly in rows 12 inches apart and cover with ½ inches of fine soil. Firm lightly and keep evenly moist.
