Shockwave Melon Seeds

Shockwave is a long shelf life (LSL), Harper type melon offering growers holding ability for a more controlled pick. It has a great eating quality with firm, sweet (15% brix), orange flesh. The oval-shaped fruit are smooth, non-sutured and have a very tight seed cavity. Shockwave melon makes for an easy harvest as it gets a golden skin fleck and unlike other LSL types it slips when ripe. Intermediate resistance to powdery mildew (1,2) and Fusarium wilt (0,1,2).

Melons prefer slightly sandy, very rich, well-drained soil. Be careful not to over water vines, especially as fruit is approaching maturity
