Toad is a small fruited, semi-hard shell pumpkin variety with multiple tiny warts that truly give it a unique character. Bush plants produce round to oval-shaped fruit that have a bright orange color and weigh 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 lbs. Toad's fruit have a smooth rind behind the warts and a strongly attached, well-proportioned stem. Note: Less warts appear when grown under stressful conditions.
